Cooling, Teresa Lynn
Teresa Lynn Cooling, 50, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Brosh Chapel in Solon, located at 100 S. Cedar St.
Teresa was born May 30, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, to Darrell and Joann (Thompson) Van Winkle. She graduated form Washington High School in 1980. Teresa married Richard Cooling in 1991. She was very active in the karaoke community over the past five years. Teresa loved spending time at her boat house and with her harbor friends.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Rich; daughters, Christi (Blake) Anderson, Chelsea Cooling and Cheyanna Cooling; grandchildren, Aiden, Adrianna and Ava; brother, Rod (Janet) Van Winkle; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents.
Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
