Cooling, Dallas Myron
Dallas Myron Cooling, 71, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at his home. A celebration of Dallas's life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the Solon American Legion. Private family burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Solon.
Dallas was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Clemons, Iowa to Eldon and Julia (Borton) Cooling. He married Mary Carolyn Koss on June 20, 1959.
He is survived by his children, Randy (Laura), Rhonda (David) Murphy, Richard, Ron, Ray (Connie) and Ross; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Vernon (Ruth), Garol (Ruth), Duane (Debbie), Gary (LuAnn), Lloyd (Lois), Dale, Lyle (Joyce) and Margaret (Dick) Hajek.
Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; a sister, LaVonne Walters; two brothers, Darol and Art Cooling; and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Cooling.
