Cook, Wanda D.
Wanda D. Cook, 89, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012. A visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday followed by a memorial at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church. Pastor Steve Knudson will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Robert Cook Jr. and wife Joann of Mountain Home, Ark.; a daughter, Diane Schade of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son-in-law, David Schade; grandson, Dennis Schade; parents; two sisters and a brother.
Wanda was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Mason City, the daughter of Glen Margretz and Pauline Craft. She married Robert Cook on March 7, 1941, in Iowa City. She was employed by Square D.
Wanda enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.
