Cook Jr., Cecil Ivan 'Cookie'
Cecil Ivan “Cookie” Cook Jr., 78, of Waverly, Iowa, died Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Heritage United Methodist Church, Waverly. Burial will be in Washington Chapel Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Marlys of Waverly; daughter, Deanna (Tom) Sullivan of Bloomington, Ill.; son, Brian G. (Sue) Cook of Decorah, Iowa; son, Bradley C. Cook of Springfield, Ill.; daughter, Gena (Robert) Bappe of Hartford, S.D.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
