Cook, Edmund A.
Edmund A. Cook, 89, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence following a short illness. Friends may call from 1 until 4 p.m. today at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of Christ United in Winthrop, with graveside services at 2 p.m. Monday in the Troy Mills Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Leah of Independence; his three daughters, Joyce McAtee of Independence, Diane (Gary) Davidson of Independence and Sharon (Mike) Wilson of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Charles Cook of Canyon, Texas; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Ray (Doris) Cook of Winthrop; and one sister, Bernice Dusil of Troy Mills.
