Constance Darlene Rote,
65, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Harry Rote, her children, Brad Tatro of Texas, James Rote of Burlington, Iowa, Corey R. (Amanda) Rote, Carmon L. (Katie Jones) Rote, Ben Rote and Savannah L. (Neal Johnson) Rote; and her siblings, Sandy Williams, Therese (Lester) Sturgeon and Vickie (Leonard) Weems all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Also surviving are many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron Sturgeon.
Constance was born June 23, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Dean and June (Maiden name) Sturgeon. She married Harry Rote on March 9, 1979, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She enjoyed tin can hunting, country and church music and feeding the birds and squirrels. Constance enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and pets Heather and Sarah.
