Constance "Connie" M. Olson, age 93, of Janesville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Cedar Crest Assisted Living Facility in Janesville.

She was born in Milton, Wisconsin on December 27, 1930; the daughter of John W. and Edna (Weber) Fiedler. Connie married Truman J. Olson on June 5, 1951, in Waukegan, Illinois; and they shared 55 years of marriage before his passing on February 24, 2007. Connie worked as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn for many years, where she was able to utilize the strong work ethic she garnered from a young age.

Connie is survived by her children: James R. (Vonda) Olson, Gary L. (Debbie) Olson, Dennis T. (Diane) Olson, Kristine S. (Rick) Bilgrien and Jeffery T. Olson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Deb) Fiedler and Genevieve Manogue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Olson; her parents; and siblings: John, Robert, Helen, Phyllis and Beverly.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Bond Haldeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Committal will immediately follow the service to Milton Lawns Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Connie's memory to either St. John Lutheran Church, 302 N. Parker Dr., Janesville, WI, 53545; or to a charity of your choice.
