Conrad, Frieda A.
Frieda A. Conrad, 87, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Private graveside services will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Clarence, with the Rev. David Mears officiating.
Survivors include daughter, Myra (Gene) Krenz of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, T. Scott Krenz of Minneapolis, Minn. and Jusdyn (Ramona) Krenz of Cedar Rapids; and two great-grandchildren, Collin and Madison Krenz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Frieda was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Cedar County, Iowa, to Fred and Viola Moeller Siemsen, On June 25, 1947, she married Leonard Conrad in Clarence. He died Aug. 23, 2004.
Frieda was an Avon representative in Clarence for 14 years and also was a waitress at the Lowden Truck Stop and George's Steak House in Stanwood. She loved bowling, golfing and needlework. She also loved to draw and paint along with making crafts and cooking.
