Connie Richards, 80, of Vinton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton, Iowa, with the Rev. Brian Channel officiating, visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until the service. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Fred and Oletha (Brust) Fletcher; she was one five children. Connie loved to watch gameshows such as the Price is Right or Let's Make a Deal.
Survivors include her sons, Brett (Dawnette) Richards of Vinton, Iowa, and Chris Richards of Vinton, Iowa; daughter, Pam Greene of Marengo, Iowa; grandchildren, Lucas (Stephaine) Richards, Darcie, Danielle, Rebecca and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Aiden Richards, Jordan, Kylie, Michael, Andrew, Mika and John; and brother, Fred Fletcher Jr. of Spring Hill, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Geraldine Lindsey, Yvonne Koopman and Sharon Heafner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
