Connie Sue Lange, 63, of Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. May 7 at Gwen's Restaurant in Lisbon.
Connie was born April 16, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Edward and Edna (Bradd) Forest. On Oct. 12, 1968, she was united in marriage to Billy Gene Lange. She worked at Oral B/Proctor & Gamble for 42 years, retiring in April 2015.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren in the outdoors at the family cabin.
Connie is survived by her husband, Bill, of Mount Vernon; three sons, Pat Lange of Mount Vernon, Jason (Sara) of Humboldt and Kasey (Sara) of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren, Jacob, Stefani, Wylie, Mallie and Teagan; siblings, Bonnie (Kenny) Schoff of Mount Vernon, Ronnie (Janice) Forest of Mount Vernon, Linda (Fred) Hunter of Hopkinton, Kaylene Forest of Cedar Rapids and Al (Deb) Forest of Cedar Rapids; sisters-in-law, Beverly (John) Chunka of Omaha, Neb.; and Brenda (Fred) Potter of Canton, Iowa; mother-in-law, Wiona Lange of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, father-in-law and sister-in-law.
