Connie Kay Huedepohl passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at Colonial Manor in Amana at the age of 75 years.
Connie is survived by her high school sweetheart and spouse of 55 years, Dennis, of Williamsburg; four children, Jeff and Gretchen Huedepohl of Jefferson City, Mo., Scott and Andrea Huedepohl of Waterford, Wis., Shelly and Bryce Brecht of Watkins, Iowa, and Kristin and Andrew Ward of Walford, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Benjamin, Seth and Hannah Huedepohl, Aaron and Jacob Huedepohl, Kelsey and Tanner Brecht and Nathan and Allison Ward; one great-granddaughter, Emma; six siblings, Greg and Linda Schrock of Iowa City, Linda Nelms of Littleton, Colo., Gil and Deb Schrock of Sunland, Calif., Randy and Jen Schrock of Floyd Knobs, Ind., Barb and Jim Murphy of Iowa City and Kerilee and Doug Gahring of Newnan, Ga.; sister-in-law, Dianne and Kurt Metzner of Jackson, Miss.; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
