Connie Florence Wilbanks, 74, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Family and friends will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Burial at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Walker.
She is survived by her sister, Donna (Lloyd) Banks; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie was born on Dec. 25, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Robert and Dolores (Wood) Prucha. She graduated from Regis High School. For a short time, she worked as a CNA before becoming a beautician. Connie retired as a manager for Sally Beauty Supply. She enjoyed league bowling and served as a state association officer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Wilbanks; and brother, Robert "RG" Prucha Jr.
Memorials are suggested to any animal rescue organization.
