Connie “Constance” Ann Myer “Crumbaugh” died Jan. 16, 2026, following a brief illness. Connie was born June 16, 1959 to her mom and dad, Georgene M Grimm and Donald A Crumbaugh. Connie leaves behind her dad, Donald Crumbaugh, Marion; sisters, Donna Hood, Marion, Angela Karasek, Cedar Rapids, and Tammy Harman (Vince), Yuma, AZ; brother, Tim Crumbaugh (Michelle Meyer), Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, Kane Lambert and Avery Bascom, Cedar Rapids; great-granddaughter, Luna Lambert; aunts, Toni Simpson (Brant), Cedar Rapids, and Rose Northen, Hiawatha; and special friend, Dawn Lambert, Cedar Rapids. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Connie had a very outgoing personality. She easily made friends wherever she went. Connie enjoyed watching TV shows with CSI Miami being her absolute favorite. You could always find Connie with a cold Pepsi in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Connie’s cat, Poppy, was very special to her, bringing comfort and companionship.
Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Alicia Bascom; mom, Georgene Grimm; stepmom, Carolyn Crumbaugh; niece, Sarah Harman; great-nephew, Jamil Wampler; uncle, John L Crumbaugh; and grandparents, John and Berniece Crumbaugh and George and Angeline Staub.
No services will be held. A family celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date.
