Conklin, Claude R.
Claude R. Conklin, 86, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a short illness. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Christ United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Steven Hubbell. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hrabak Funeral Home and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; daughters, Claudia (Jeff) Miner of Atkins and Rita (Dennis) Gallagher and Colleen (Doug) Blanchard, both of Belle Plaine; sister, Carole Froning of Belle Plaine; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
