Condran, Guy R.
Guy R. Condran, beloved son, brother, uncle and special friend, passed away at age 51 on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a brief, but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Guy was born March 13, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William and Dorothy (Jamesson) Condran. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He also had a true passion for golf and time spent with Lori, the love of his life, and their beloved canine companion, Cody. Guy had been employed at Whirlpool Corp. for the last 25 years.
Survivors include his parents, Bill and Dorothy Condran of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Lisa (Dave) Lyons and Kyle (Meah) Condran, both of Cedar Rapids, and Brett Condran of Walford; seven special nieces and nephews, and his fiancee, Lori Ackermann, all of Cedar Rapids.
Per Guy's request, a private family service was held Friday, Sept. 7.
