Conard, Bruce Joe
Bruce Joe Conard, 70, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home in Williamsburg. Graveside services, with military
rites, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter. A reception will follow at the Camp Dodge Museum in Johnson, Iowa. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Services is caring for arrangements.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sharon of Williamsburg; a son, Edward and wife Angie Conard of Oxford; a daughter, Anne and husband Marty Lyons of Ripon, Calif.; two granddaughters, Madison Conrad and Sara Lyons; and a sister, Esther Hudson of Robins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean; and sister, Freida.
