COLONEL JOEL MARSH OXLEY
Niceville, Fla.
Colonel Joel Marsh Oxley, 72, passed away at his home in Niceville, Fla., on Aug. 2, 2021. Private military services were held at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids.
Joel was born on Feb. 13, 1949, in Burlington, Iowa, to Marshall Oxley and AnnaLea (Heverly) Oxley. Mr. Oxley graduated from the University of Iowa and received his law degree from the University of Texas. After graduation, he spent the next 29 years as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Oxley retired in Niceville, Fla.
He is survived by cousins.
