Colleen Phelps Havel, 83, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. A private interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Washington County and the United Presbyterian Home. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Havel of Washington, Iowa; twin sister, Corine Phelps of Washington, Iowa; brother, Charles Phelps and wife Lois of Winfield, Iowa; brother-in-law, Robert Havel and wife Pat of Washington, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
