Coleman, James W.
James W. Coleman, 66, of Belle Plaine, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids from complications of surgery. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church by the Rev. Brian Shepley and Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial: Haven Cemetery, rural Tama. Visitation: from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home, where there will be a vigil service at 6:30.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Bill Coleman, Pat Coleman, and Dale Coleman, all of Belle Plaine; daughters, Becky Ray of Cedar Rapids, Tammy Carlson of Fairfax; brothers, George (Evelyn) Coleman of Brentwood, Mo., Ray (Betty) Coleman of Toledo, Gary (Jani) Coleman of Indianola; sisters, Mabel Muck of Belle Plaine, Evelyn Clemann and Bernita Knudson, both of Toledo, Mary (Ray) DePauw of Brooklyn; Florence (Paul) June and Frances (Vaun) Williams, both of Cedar Rapids, and Marilyn (Jim) Johnson of Chelsea; also by four grandchildren.
