Coleman, James P.
James P. Coleman, 48 of 7100 Mount Vernon Rd., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation for friends and relatives of Jim may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Stewart Baxter Funeral and Memorial Services, 1844 First Ave, NE, Cedar Rapids, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade, Iowa.
The Reiff Funeral Home in Cascade, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
James was born July 19, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Dennis C. Coleman and Janice K. Rahe. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Washington, Iowa.
He is survived by two brothers, Scott Coleman of Schaumburg, Ill., and Brian (Kim) Coleman of Washington, Iowa; three nephews, Trevor Beardshear, and Travis and Tanner Coleman; and special friends include, Pam Ketelsen, Frank Hulsizer and Amy Sigler, all of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Rahe.
A James P. Coleman memorial fund has been established.
