Clifford "Skip" Parvin, 69, of Homestead, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, Meadow Hill Christian Fellowship Church, Homestead, with the Rev. Diane Buswell officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church, before the service. Burial: 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, Brooks Cemetery, Brooks, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons,
Randy Parvin (Kendi) of Monona, Wis., and Kevin Parvin (Kristi) of Homestead; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Also surviving is a brother, Edward Parvin (Rita) of Muscatine; and two sisters, Karen Von Lienen (Ron) of Marengo and Susan Spidle (Duane) of Peyton, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Rettig Parvin.
