Cleta Mae (Staton) Martin was born August 19, 1945 to Joseph Staton and Zeneata (Sauer) Staton. She attended school in Manchester, IA, and graduated May 1963. She served in the U.S. Air Force August 26, 1963 – October 30, 1964. She married Henry Joseph Martin, Jr., August 20, 1964. One son was born to this union.
Cleta passed December 4, 2024.
Surviving: Son, Richard Martin. Granddaughters, Heather (Mike), Amber (Fiancé, William) and 7 great-grandchildren. Surviving Siblings: Cloey Nickerson, David, (Lil), Staton, Gail Coleson, Keith Staton, Gary (Sharon) Staton, Leroy, (Deb) Staton, Zeta (Gary) Nieman, Don Staton, Terry (Becky) Staton. Sisters-in-law, Donna Staton (Robert), Carol Staton (Junior).
Cleta was preceded in death by Parents; Sister, Baby Girl Staton; Brothers, Frank Staton, Junior Staton, Robert Staton, Billy Staton.
Celebration of Life at Winthrop Fellowship Hall, 534 W. Madison Street, Winthrop, IA, June 14, 2025 at 11 AM with meal. Shared memories at 1 PM.
