Cleo L. Nightingale, 74, passed away peacefully Feb. 21, 2014, after a fall in her home. She was born in
Iowa City in February 1939 and grew up in Northern Iowa, she later moved to Cedar Rapids to raise a family. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker, caring for her husband and children.
She is survived by three children, Glen, Jonnie and Owen; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Harry, Celia and Martha.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; and her parents, John and Gladys Robbins.
There will be no funeral services. The family is having a celebration of life open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at 2125 Deborah Dr. SW, Cedar Rapids. Friends and family are welcome.
There is no death only a change of worlds.
