Clemmens, Donna
Donna Clemmens, 77, of Clarence, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, where friends may call from noon to service time. Karmen Jamison will officiate. Inurnment will be in Clarence Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley Blake of De Witt; and three brothers, Gilbert of Clarence, John of Edmonds,Wash., and Donald of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Helen; and brothers, George, Dale and Dean.
Born Oct. 5, 1931, in Clarence, the daughter of George and Nettie (Henkes) Sheldon, she married Melvin "Ted" Clemmens on June 22, 1952. He died in 1987.
Donna was a member of Clarence United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 286.
