Clement Joseph Sharp, 85, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, July 21, 2014, after a long battle with COPD. A celebration of life will held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Sharp residence, 3005 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores; daughter, Debbie; sons, Chuck (Kris), Craig and Carl; brother, Cletus; sister, Rosella Stratton; grandchildren, Joe, Jenny, Cathrine (Michael), Toni (Russ), Kaye (Kevin), Ann (Mike), Melissa (Jake) and Matt (Stormy); and a great-grandson, Isaiah.
Clement was born March 8, 1929, in Richmond, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Charlotte (Lintz) Sharp. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Clement was a truck driver for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene, Lloyd C., Richard and William; and sisters, Margaret Soukup, Kathleen Cram and Susan Kluth.
