Clemens, Eldon T.
Eldon T. Clemens, 95, of Dubuque, passed away April 6, 2010, at Ennoble Manor. The wake was April 8 at Behr Funeral Home and funeral mass April 9 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Dubuque. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Jeanne; their children, Ted (Fran), Prescott, Ariz., Timothy (Kathy), Marion, Michelle Clemens, Dubuque, Todd (Cathleen) Skiatook, Okla., Toni (Bob) Erhart, Keokuk, and Tina (Gus) Gerken, Fairfax; daughter-in-law, Patti (Jack) Fury, Davenport; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Clarence, Hazel and Lyle; two sons, Thomas and Terry; and granddaughter, Connie.
Eldon was born Oct. 5, 1914, son of Mathias and Gertrude (Pauly) Clemens. He married Jeanne E. Morgan on Nov. 10, 1937. He was an artist, photographer, wood craftsman and loved to read and play cards, especially with his family.
He will be deeply missed.
