CLAUDIA (MAXWELL) CORONA

Claudia Ann (Maxwell) Corona, born Sept. 28, 1952, in Newport, R.I., passed away April 4, 2015, after a brief illness in Sacramento, Calif., at age 62.
Claudia was the oldest of three children of Richard and Norma Maxwell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School in 1970 and moved to Sacramento soon after.
She is the beloved mother of three children, Ryan Corona, Sara (Corona) Vazquez and Kaitlyn Corona, all of Sacramento.
She is survived by her children, mother, nine grandchildren, sisters Cathleen (Maxwell) Ingersoll and Laura Maxwell, two nephews and several cousins.
Claudia was a vivacious, fun-loving person and will be dearly missed.
A graveside memorial service was held Friday, April 10, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sacramento.
