Clark, Rodney Lon
Rodney Lon Clark, 60, of Marion, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at his home with his family at his side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; three sons, Shad (Heather) Clark of Shellsburg, Sean (Jennifer) Clark of Marion, and Rodney Lynn (Tonya) Clark of Springville; grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Tristin, Lillian, and Carlie Clark; and one sister, Sheila of Iowa. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger Clark.
Rodney was born November 30, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Vernon and Eileen (Marsden) Clark. He married Susan Steffes on October 3, 1970, in Marion. Rodney was a printer for Longview Fibre for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the United Paperworkers Union and an avid supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, serving as Scout Master for seven years.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
