Clark, Norma Edith
Norma Edith Clark, 82, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, in her home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Nathan Loehr will officiate at the service. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wilcox Cemetery, rural Viola.
Norma is survived by her children, Penny May (Arnold) Grassfield of Olin, Virginia Ann (Wayne) Dahlhoff of Hornbeck, La., Jean Marie Clark of Charles City and Mildred Kay Clark of Minnesota; five grandchildren, Arnold, Paul, Susan, Brian and Wayne; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris (James) Loehr of Hale; a brother, Sonny (Barbara) of Anamosa; and a sister-in-law, Carol.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John on May 30, 1998; two brothers, Larry and Glenn; and a sister, Nina.
Norma Edith Seeley was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Wenatchee, Wash., the daughter of Norman and Iren (Joslin) Seeley. On May 30, 1953, Norma and John Clark were united in marriage. Norma and John were married for 45 years.
The couple enjoyed fishing, hunting ginseng, rabbits, and squirrels, and went on many trips in their homemade van. Norma was a charter member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Anamosa.
Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by those closest to her.
