Clark, Michael R.
Michael R. Clark, 57, of Brandon, died Thursday morning, Sept. 2, 2010, at Buchanan County Health Center, Independence, following a short illness with cancer. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brandon United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Lanette Sue Van officiating. Burial will be in Brandon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, and from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; three children, Jason (Angie) Clark, Springfield, Ill., Adam (Emily) Clark, La Porte City, and Sara (Nathan) Krum, Winthrop; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Natalie Krum, Caleb and Collin Clark, and Savannah Walvatne; and three sisters, Shirley Clark, Everett, Wash., Pat Marsh, Fairbank, Iowa, and Sue (Phil) Thompson, Cedar Rapids.
