Clark, Carol J.
Carol J. Clark, 70, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at her home after a short illness on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Cedar Rapids.
Surviving Carol are her husband of 47 years, Jim; her daughter, Debbie (Greg) Michel of St. Charles, Ill.; son, Bob (Angie) Clark of Fairfax; a sister, Pat (Vic) Butz of Moravia; brothers, Lloyd Driscoll of Watkins, Jerry Driscoll of Cedar Rapids and Bill (Karen) Driscoll of Newhall; grandsons, Cal and Griffen Clark; and her dog Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Ed, Ron and Larry.
Carol Jean Clark was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Iowa City, to Edwin and Lucille (Schutterle) Driscoll. She married James Clark on Oct. 15, 1963, in Watkins. She was employed until her retirement by Norand (Intermec). She was an active member of the Moose Lodge, a passionate crossword solver and a Hawkeye fan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
