Clara Louise Quick, 68, of Waterloo, formerly of Kingston, N.Y., died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021. There will be no services or burial, but the family will be having a memorial cookout celebration to remember their beloved Clara Quick.
Clara married Carl Quick Sr. on Dec. 13, 1969, in Kingston, N.Y. She ended up having three beautiful children Elizabeth, Carl Jr., and Arthur. Clara worked for Greene County Social Services in Catskill, N.Y., until she retired from there. She was involved in her children's school events. Clara and her family moved to Waterloo, Iowa, in 1991 and did odd jobs to keep herself busy. Clara and her family would go back to New York every other year to enjoy going camping with their family in New York. She loved cooking and family occasions. When it came to her family she loved them dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carl Quick Sr.; children, Elizabeth Stevens, Carl (Tamara) Quick Jr., and Arthur (Latryce) Quick; brother, Arthur
Ellsworth; grandchildren, Amber Stevens, Jessica (Nick) Vespucci, Mikey Stevens, Brandon Vance, Gabrielle Vance, Matthew Quick, Cameron Quick, Jeremiah Quick and Markus Quick; and great-grandchildren, Gavin and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur "Buck"; mother, Anna Ellsworth; and brothers, Walt Ellsworth and Gus Ellsworth.
