Clar, Minnie
Minnie Clar, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died at the Hiawatha Care Center, Monday, July 2, 2012.
Minnie was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Parkersburg, to William and Minnie Adelmund. She married James Clar on June 5, 1948. Minnie was employed by the Meth-Wick Community for many years, retiring in 1979.
Survivors include her children, Patricia St. Germain of Cedar Rapids, Robert (Carla) Clar of Ryan, and JoAnn (Lester) Lang of Monona; nine grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) St. Germain, Dana (Robert) Costas, Christopher Clar, Shawna (Andy) Hefel, Jennelle (Aaron) Schroeder, Gabrielle (Jeff) Recker, Danielle (Paul) Bakewell, Michelle (Patrick) Gear and Justin (Andrea) Lang; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dennis St. Germain.
There will be no services. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
