Clancy, Hallie M.
Hallie M. Clancy passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2011, at the age of 21. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at The Newman Catholic Student Center, with the Rev. Ed Fitpatrick officiating. Visitation will Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Service, Coralville, where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Hallie was born Feb. 15, 1990, in Iowa City, Iowa. She lived at the ChildServe Center in Johnston, and more recently at Comprehensive Systems in Charles City.
Hallie is survived by her mother and father, Renee Clancy and Thomas Roy Clancy of St. Paul, Minn.; and siblings, Matthew S. Clancy (Grace Thommandru) of Ames, Michael T. Clancy (Danielle Stille) of Kansas City, Mo., and Hannah R. Clancy of St. Paul; her grandmothers, Margaret Clancy of Iowa City, Nancy (Paul) Cahill of Coralville and Karen Boddicker of Cedar Rapids; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Hallie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dr. John Clancy and Wallace Boddicker.
Hallie was a happy girl who was loved by her family, her friends and all those who cared for her throughout her life.
We will miss her endearing smile and laughter and cherish our memories of her.
