Churchill, Albert M. 'Mikey'
Albert M. “Mikey” Churchill, 61, of Living Center West, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from a long illness. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Marion Christian Church. Inurnment will be at a later date in Garrett Cemetery, What Cheer.
Mikey is survived by a brother, Larry (Esther) Churchill, and a sister, Mary Churchill, both of Marion; a brother, Ken Churchill of Muscatine; and numerous nieces and nephews who were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ron and Joe.
Albert Michael Churchill was born Nov. 15, 1948, to Marvin and Dorothy (Kitzman) Churchill, in Oskaloosa. He graduated from Marion High School and later worked at LeFebure, Zinser Demolition, Banner Valley Hauling and A-1 Disposal.
Mikey had many friends and never met an enemy or stranger. Mikey loved to visit and pass candy to family and friends parting with his favorite saying “Toodle-Loo.”
The family thanks the staff at Living Center West for the care they provided.
