Christopher James Danielson, 26, of Cedar Rapids passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
Chris was born Sept. 10, 1992. He graduated from North Central College in Illinois, in 2016. Chris was a gregarious, warm-hearted friend to all those he came in contact with. He loved basketball (and competition of all sorts), music (especially guitar), and anyone who was around him. In his last few months, he spent time at The Abbey Center in Bettendorf, where he was inspired to spend time cultivating the Christian faith he was raised with. He is now with the savior he had been spending so much time with during his last months.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Jing Danielson; brother, Paul Danielson; girlfriend, Katie Davenport; sister-in-law, Morgan; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
The memorial will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at Cedar Valley Bible Church, 3636 Cottage Grove Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403. Pastors Joel DeSousa and Bill Randles will be officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to offset funeral expenses.
