CHRISTOPHER “CHRIS" LEE DOUGAN
Cedar Rapids
On Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at 12:54 p.m., Christopher "Chris" Lee Dougan passed away in the St. Luke's ICU, surrounded by his family.
He is the first in his immediate family to pass away leaving behind his parents; his sister, Amy; as well as his two children, Chloe (25) and Kyler (20).
He was born on July 16, 1973, in Texas, to Theodore (Ted) Dougan and Lydia Dougan (Romero). My Dad was known for his vibrant personality and the ability to make just about anyone laugh. His main stomping grounds were the Cedar Rapids and Marion metropolitan area. During his life, my Dad worked the most time as a commercial roofer with his former
father-in-law, and then later in life he became a barber. He made friends wherever he went with people of all walks of life. This world lost a comedian, but his inside jokes will be repeated by his friends and family for years to come.
His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February, 18, with food and reminiscing to follow the service at Victory and Grace at Mission of Hope, 1700 B Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
Please send flowers, cards or donate to the GoFundMe created in part by his daughter Chloe Dougan to help pay for medical costs.
