Christine Cedarstrom Vincent, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, after a long battle with lymphoma. Family will greet friends beginning at 3 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service following at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial will be at a later date at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.
Christine is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca (Thomas) Bose and Catherine Cantrill; four grandchildren, Nicholas Bose, Andrew Bose, Joanna Moody and Jacob Moody; siblings, Craig (Holly) Cedarstrom, Laura (Terry) Bridwell and Eric (Lori) Cedarstrom; and sister-in-law, Terri Cedarstrom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her high school sweetheart whom she married in 2000, George Vincent; and brother, James Cedarstrom.
Christine earned an M.B.A. and worked her way up from a teller at a bank to vice president, spending 30 years in the industry. She helped build a Phoenix-based company from scratch to a multimillion-dollar venture. She was a pioneer in cutting-edge cancer research and was a model of grace, empathy and sass.
