CHRISTINE ANN (TURNER) FREEMAN
Goodyear, Ariz.
Christine Ann (Turner) Freeman passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 9, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born April 6, 1960, in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, she was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1992. Christine was a loving, strong and devoted wife. She
enjoyed cooking, was an advocate for shelter animals and was an avid reader.
She especially loved her annual reunion vacations taken with her sisters.
Christine is survived by her husband, Kenneth Freeman; her sisters, Kathy Mclees, Hiawatha, and Amanda Hedgpeth, Denver; three nephews, Dan Caraway, Cedar Rapids, Rob Caraway, Omaha, and Jake Mclees, Hiawatha; two nieces, Christina Gustin, Denver, and Bri Mclees, Watseka, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Kelley Gastineau (Freeman) and her husband, James; and a stepson, Ryan Freeman and his wife, Emily.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lee and Nancy (Bear) Turner; and her brother, Jim.
Military honors, in conjunction with interment, will be conducted at the Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles.
