Christine A. Vrba, age 77, of Robins, Iowa, passed away Friday, August 23rd, 2024, in her home due to an extended battle with multiple health issues. She was surrounded by her family and beloved pets.
Chris enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite activities
included crafting, camping, shopping, and most of all taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maxine Scharfenberg, husband Michael Vrba; son John Vrba; granddaughter Maxine Vrba (John); brother Martin Scharfenberg; brother in-law, Bill Vrba; and her very special friend Timmy.
Survivors include her son, Michael Vrba Jr. (Bonnie), daughters Danelle Vrba and Amanda Klinkenborg (Derek); grandsons Jacob Vrba (Trudy) and Bradley Vrba; brother Steven Scharfenberg (Mary); sister-in-law Mark Kay Vrba; nephews Scott Vrba and
Steven Scharfenberg; and nieces Shelly Pashan and Lisa Roberts.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Chris will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
