Christianson, Patricia Ann 'Pat'
Patricia Ann “Pat” Christianson, formerly of Marion, died Jan. 6, 2013, at Bridge's Retirement Center in Waterloo from complications of spinal cancer.
She was born Feb. 8, 1942, in Waterloo to Carl Clinton and Evelyn Erna Georgianna Guetzlaff Christianson. She attended Teachers College in Cedar Falls for two years and then moved to Cedar Rapids to work at Rockwell Collins as a printed circuit board maker for 32 1/2 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Eagles Club.
She is survived by a sister, Carol James of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Jim “Sparky” (Gayle) Christianson of Waterloo and Eugene Christianson of Cedar Rapids; nephews, Chuck (Tina), Jeff and John James; nieces, Lori and Lisa James, Robin Romero, Missy Christianson and Kim Williams; also a special aunt, Dorothy Guetzlaff; and special friend, M. (Lou) McGuire.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph; and her companion, Joseph Roethler.
Services were held in Waterloo on Jan. 10 with burial in Alta Vista, Iowa.
