Chester "Chet" Reisner, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 29, 2018.
He was born April 2, 1936, to Chester Sr. and Arlene Reisner in Chicago. Chet married Lola Reisner on Nov, 3, 1962. They later divorced.
Chet served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1961. He retired in 1995 after working 34 years at Rockwell Collins as a test technician. Chet enjoyed his daily crossword puzzles, swimming and observing wildlife.
Chet is survived by his daughter, Francine of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Jim (Anita) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Shannon (Brett), Patrick, Joseph, David and Anna; and three great-grandchildren.
Chet was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Dennis.
Visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories State Room on Friday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
