Charlotte Joffe Wilford, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018,
at Northbrook Manor
Nursing Home, Cedar Rapids. A private family gathering of remembrance will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Charlotte was born April 4, 1937, in Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Tweet) Joffe. On April 19, 1956, she married Richard James Wilford in Georgia. Charlotte worked for Weight Watchers and Rainsoft. She retired from Wilford's Water and Well as a bookkeeper in 1987. Charlotte enjoyed watching soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Richard of Cedar Rapids; sons, Ken (Karen) Wilford of Cedar Rapids and Richard Alan Wilford of Chicago; three grandsons, Kraig (Heather) Wilford of Hiawatha, Kevin (Deann) Wilford of Cedar Rapids and Kory (Tori) Wilford of Cedar Rapids; five great-grandchildren, Gabby, Aurora, Ella, Braxton and Kynleigh Wilford; and brother-in-law, William (Donna) Wilford of Shueyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Joffe; and sister, Veronica Castle.
The family would like to thank the staff at Northbrook Manor Nursing Home for their love and care.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Charlotte's memory.
