Services for Charlie B. Pirtle of Obion, Tenn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at New Life Church of God in Christ, 3300 42nd St. NE, by Pastor J.A. Pledge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Pledge and Hattie Pirtle; and two brothers, Malvin Pirtle and Thomas Pirtle.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Jessie, Charlie of Tama and Justin of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Marvin Pledge, Jerry Pledge and John Pledge, all of Cedar Rapids; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
