Charles W. Bickford passed away, family by his side, Saturday, January 11, 2025, in Hiawatha. Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, January 25th from 9:30 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1350 Lyndhurst Dr., Hiawatha, IA 52233.
Charles was born July 19, 1943, in Fort Dodge to William and Dorothy.
He worked as a Test Technician for Rockwell Collins Cedar Rapids for 35 years. Charles served our country for 5 years in the Navy. Charles belonged to Anamosa Bowhunters and the American Legion Riders. He loved bowhunting, camping, motorcycling, spending time outdoors and being a “snowbird” for many years. Charles loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Charles is survived by his spouse, Joyce, his daughter Theresa, son Terry (Karin), grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua and sister, Mary Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy; brother, Marshall.
Memorials may be given to any children’s hospitals.
