Charles F. "Charlie" Pratt, 83, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. Pastor Rick Zicke-foose will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lensing's.
Instead of flowers and plants, the family kindly requests memorials to The Charles Pratt Memorial Service.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Shirley of Iowa City; son, William (Melissa) Pratt of Iowa City; brother, Joe (Alberta) Pratt of Marshalltown; sisters, Nancy And-erson of Brighton and Frances (Gene) Rees of Columbus Junction; a granddaughter, Bergen of Harper; sister-in-law, Kathryn Pratt of Agency; and numerous nieces and nephews.
