Charles "Chuck" Newlon, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at St. Luke's
Hospital. A celebration of Chuck's life will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at 1115 Second St. SW.
Chuck was born Sept. 23, 1958, the son of Billy George Newlon and Elaine Nelson.
Chuck is survived by his children; brothers, Mark and Alvin Newlon; and sisters, Jenny Hoff and Carrie Smith.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Harry and Genevieve Nelson.
Chuck enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family. He lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone around him.
