Charles Porter Kimm, 55, of Belle Plaine, passed away Jan. 15, 2014, after fighting a courageous
battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hrabak Funeral Home, with the service
following at 3 p.m.
Charles was the son of Harlan Kimm and Agnus Suchy, the oldest of three children.
A brother, Edward, and a sister, Pamela (Kevin) Stull, are both still living, as well as a stepsister, Deb (Bill) Larimer, and stepbrother, Dwight (Becky) Douglas.
Charles had two daughters, Lisa and Michelle, whom he loved and lost tragically. One by a car accident, the other by fire.
Charles farmed on the side while working at Tama Pack, then at Amana Refrigeration, where he suffered a serious head and brain injury. Before his injury he loved the outdoors, farming, fishing and fast cars.
Charles will be greatly missed by family and friends.
His final resting place will be at the Keystone Cemetery between his mother, Agnus, and his grandmother, Tillie, and in Heaven with his daughters, Lisa and Michelle, whom he loved, and missed always.
