CHARLES F. SMITH
Quasqueton
Charles F. Smith, 90, of Quasqueton, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Chuck was an ordained minister from the Church of God out of Findley, Ohio. He also worked at the VA in Iowa City as a nurse. He was a kind, considerate, wonderful man with a great love of family and animals. He had three dogs, Shyra, Achmed and Patches. He has left a large family with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by wife, Kathy Smith; and children, Chuckie Smith, Tom Smith, Donald Smith, Bill Evans, Steve Evans and Jason Evans; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Pauline; daughter, Julie; son, Ricky; adopted son, Jerry; and siblings.
His Celebration of Life will be announced later.
The family would like to thank Cedar Valley Hospice for their wonderful care. We would also like to thank Mary, Beth and Molly Hurt for their wonderful care during Chucks last days.
Memorials may be donated to the Humane Society.
