Charles "Eddie" Edward Saey, 64, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at ManorCare, Cedar Rapids after a long battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services is caring for Eddie and his family.
He is survived by his sisters, Angela (Phil) Wacha and Diana (Chad) Frazier of Vinton, Jean Saey of Minnesota and Janet Daigle of Canada; brothers, Daniel (Tracie) Saey of Cedar Rapids, Darrell Dvorak and Danny (Jamie) Dvorak of Vinton; niece, Amanda (Kevin) Olson; nephew, Justin (Katelyn) Wacha; three great-nieces and two great-nephews; and several other extended family members.
Eddie was born Dec. 15, 1956, to Darrel Dvorak and Roselina Saey, in Germany. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Saey.
